Rutgers Cooperative Extension Landscaping and Gardening Publications
Over the years, Rutgers has produced many good publications on all aspects of gardening and landscaping. They are developed with the homeowner in mind, are periodically updated, are specific for our growing conditions in New Jersey and the advice they give is based on good science and not on marketing to sell you something. Everything is in a PDF format so make sure that you do have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.

Our plants thrive because we grow them from start to finish. Once at our garden center, we fertilize them and check the soil pH weekly. Moisture levels are checked twice daily as well as the proper spacing of all plants on display. This ensures that you get a well-grown plant that will continue to thrive in your garden.
